Half My Heart Beats

When: from 9pm - last Saturday of every month. FREE                                 

Half My Heart Beats is a indiepop club night in Glasgow.We have a monthly residency at the Flying Duck club (2^nd Saturday of the month) as well as our monthly appearance here at The 78 (last Saturday of the month).

We (Lynsey and Colin) are started the club because we want somewhere to go to hear the music we love, and to share it with people who feel the same way. We  play current and classic indiepop, but you'll also hear '60s girl groups and anything else we think you will love. We post our playlists at http://halfmyheartbeats.blogspot.com/ which will give you  an idea of the kind of thing we are playing.

We have been inspired by other indiepop club nights, like our friends at Spiral Scratch in London and the peerless National Pop League here in Glasgow, but we hope Half My Heart Beats will have an identity all of its own. We won't only play the hits; you'll also hear album track gems and B-sides, the stunning songs you wouldn't normally get to hear.

The blog will be the best way of keeping up to date with everything relating to the club, so we recommend you subscribe to the RSS feed. We'll be keeping you up to date on how the night is coming along, and we'll post photos and playlists afterwards. In future months we're planning some guest DJs, all of whom we're very excited about!
